For my favourite character, I chose the letter R from the Nauryz Redkeds typeface. I was drawn to its playful, geometric rhythm and the way its structure could shift while still retaining its recognizable essence. I explored how the R could transform into multiple visual components by adjusting its width, symmetry, proportion, and scale, creating a variety of abstract forms that echo its original flow. Through these variations, the letter begins to act less like text and more like a modular design element—one that can exist independently across different compositions or brand systems. This exploration demonstrates how typography can evolve beyond legibility to become a tool for motion, expression, and visual identity, blurring the boundary between form and function within type design.
